3D Eagle Mountain Lake 3.5

First up you need to know that the 3D Eagle Mountain Lake application is a screensaver offered by Unique 3D Digital. There’s a 3D Eagle Mountain Lake version for the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system and a 3D Mountain Waterfall version for the Apple-developed Mac OS X. I’ve put the Windows version to the test and I have to say that downloading and installing the screensaver took very little time to complete.

Next up you need to know that when the screensaver will kick in, it will display a beautiful landscape on your monitor. You can see snow-covered mountain peaks in the distance, an animated lake in the middle, and some vegetation right in front. Among the vegetation you can see butterflies flying around. Way in the distance, among the moving clouds, you can see the silhouette of a flying eagle.

From a visual point of view, there’s not much else to say about this screensaver.

From a “play with the settings point of view” there is much to say. Here are the settings you can play with from the screensaver’s Settings menu:

Sound - You can adjust the sound volume (the screensaver plays sound in the background by default) and if you click the “Change to Your Music” button and you will be presented with instructions on how you can get the screensaver to play your own tracks.
Brightness - from the Brightness submenu you can adjust the screensaver’s brightness.
Set Time of Day - from the Set Time of Day menu you can, as the name points out, set the time of day. You can choose between high noon, dusk, and night.
Tint - From the Tint submenu you can adjust the red, green, and blue tint.

Played with the settings too much and you want all of them to return to their default values? Click the “Reset All” button and all the settings will return to their default values.
